Will US and China icy relations start to thaw now that both countries have completed their own very different versions of elections? If activity around the Spratly Islands are any indicator, where hundreds of Chinese so called fishing vessels, with reinforced hulls and overpowered engines, have congregated to conduct “grey zone” intimidation of other nations fishing fleets, then the answer may well be a resounding “no”.
